SHABWA, Aug. 15 (YPA) – Several owners of fuel station in Shabwa province declared on Thursday a complete closure of all oil stations in protest against the arbitrary measures imposed by the Oil Company.
In a statement, the owners stated that the company had unjustifiably reduced the stations’ commission, in violation of the regulations, which stipulate a 5% reduction in the purchase invoice and transportation fees.
The statement explained that this reduction was not commensurate with the accepted transportation prices, and they called on the authorities loyal to the coalition to intervene to provide them with justice.
The statement stressed the need to allow station owners to purchase commercial fuel derivatives if they are not available from the company.
