ATHENS, Aug. 14 (YPA) – A large protest rally was staged in Greece on Wednesday against the Israeli cruise ship ‘Crown Iris,’ which was carrying Zionist tourists.
Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in the coastal city of Volos to protest the ship’s docking at Greek ports on the Aegean Sea, according to the Russia Today website.
These protests were part of a “Day of Rage” calling for by pro-Palestinian organizations in several locations across Greece—30 locations according to the organizers—with calls to boycott Zionist tourists and transform tourist sites into squares of solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
Previous demonstrations were held in several Greek cities to prevent Zionist tourists from disembarking at the ports they had arrived at, such as the islands of Syros, Rhodes, and Crete, due to the crimes of genocide and starvation the Israeli enemy’s committing in the Gaza Strip.
