Israeli strikes on Gaza kill 123 Palestinians over 24 hours

GAZA, Aug. 13 (YPA) – The Gaza-based Ministry of Health declared on Wednesday that the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to over  216,000.

The ministry said in a statement at least 61,722 civilians have been killed and 154,525 wounded since October 7, 2023.

The statement reported that the Israeli occupation killed 123 and injured 437 others over the past 24 hours.

It said 57 people trying to access aid center have been killed and more than 363 injured by occupation since Wednesday morning.

The statement explained that eight deaths, including three children, were recorded as a result of malnutrition in the past 24 hours, indicating that 106 people have been killed due to malnutrition and lack of treatment since the aggression began on October 7, 2023.
