GAZA, Aug. 07 (YPA) – The Ezz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas,” announced, on Thursday, that it had carried out a concentrated bombardment targeting a gathering of Israeli occupation forces and vehicles east of Gaza City.
In a brief military statement, the Brigades said that it had bombarded an occupation forces’ site in the vicinity of Dar al-Arqam School east of the al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, with several mortar shells.
It explained that the operation came within the framework of the ongoing confrontation with the occupation’s incursions and attempts to position itself inside the eastern neighborhoods of the besieged capital.
The al-Tuffah neighborhood has been witnessing a continuous field escalation for days, with violent clashes recorded between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation forces attempting to penetrate the area, amid violent aerial and artillery bombardment targeting infrastructure and residential homes.
