Sayyed Al-Houthi: Arab inaction is a key partner in the ongoing aggression against Gaza
SANAA, Aug. 07 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi accused some Arab and Islamic regimes of colluding with the Israeli enemy in the systematic starvation of more than two million people in the Gaza Strip.
He noted that this is taking place in full view of regimes that claim to belong to the Islamic nation, but in reality, they are practicing “the utmost degree of cowardice and subservience before the United States and the Zionist entity.”
In a televised speech delivered Thursday evening, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi addressed the latest developments in the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and regional developments, pointing to the worsening suffering of the Palestinian people for the fifth consecutive month due to the blockade that prevents the entry of aid.
The siege of Gaza and the complicity of regimes
Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi reviewed the details of the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza, noting that the blockade was imposed with the complicity of some Arab and Western countries, leading to a terrible starvation tragedy, especially among children.
He noted that aid is piling up at the crossing gates, while the Israeli enemy continues to Judaize Jerusalem (Quds) and expand settlements.
Attacks in the West Bank
Sayyed Al-Houthi also touched on the ongoing attacks in the West Bank, explaining that the number of attacks has exceeded 1,800. He noted that the Palestinian Authority does not provide any protection to Palestinians but rather cooperates with the enemy.
He considered that the Palestinian Authority’s attempts at peace and negotiations have proven unsuccessful.
Israeli escalation with American support
Sayyed Al-Houthi spoke about a possible Israeli escalation in the Gaza Strip, warning that it could be supported by the United States and that any attempt to occupy all of Gaza would not achieve the desired results.
He emphasized that the mujahideen in Gaza would continue their resistance despite any attempts at escalation by the occupation.
Disarming the resistance
In his speech, Sayyed Abdulmalik noted the Zionist enemy’s demands to disarm the resistance in Gaza and Lebanon, emphasizing that this proposal reflects deep concern about current Arab trends toward the Palestinian issue.
Al-Houthi criticized the negative Arab positions toward the Palestinian issue, stressing the importance of the resistance’s weapons in confronting the Israeli occupation.
In his speech, Al-Houthi rejected the idea of disarming the resistance in Gaza and Lebanon, believing it serves the interests of “the Israeli and American enemy.”
He affirmed that military force is necessary to confront dangers and that the enemy seeks to instill the idea that the solution lies in disarming peoples, pointing out that the Palestinian issue stems from the Palestinian people’s initial lack of preparedness to confront the Zionist threat militarily and their lack of sufficient Arab support.
Sayyed Al-Houthi also criticized the Arab regimes that are adopting foolish choices and approaches in confronting the Israeli and American onslaught, emphasizing that the disarmament proposal does not serve the interests of the nation but rather serves the interests of the enemy.
He stated that the Lebanese army is incapable of protecting Lebanon and that it is the resistance that prevented the Israeli enemy from occupying Lebanon. He pointed out that the Americans and Israelis possess weapons and military capabilities that pose a threat to all human societies, and they are the ones who should be told that their weapons pose a threat to the people.
In contrast, Al-Houthi praised the role of the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine as a deterrent against Israeli aggression, considering disarming them a foolish proposal with no logical justification.
Continued Yemeni support
In his speech, Al-Houthi addressed Yemen’s continued support for the Gaza Strip in the face of Israeli aggression, announcing the implementation of multiple military operations targeting enemy sites in Lod Airport, Jaffa, Haifa, and Ashkelon.
He said that the ban on the Israeli enemy navigation in the Red Sea is ongoing and effective and has led to the closure of the port of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat).
Sayyid Al-Houthi emphasized the importance of continuing to support the resistance in Gaza, noting that “the Yemeni people are continuing their extensive activities within the framework of a position that honors them before Allah and fulfills a great responsibility.”
He praised the major demonstrations and marches witnessed in Yemen’s Sanaa and some other provinces, even in the midst of rain and intense heat, believing this demonstrates the Yemeni people’s awareness of the importance of supporting the Palestinian cause.
Arab awareness and support for resistance
Al-Houthi concluded his speech by speaking about the need for Arab awareness of the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the importance of supporting the resistance in Gaza.
He called on the masses to continue expressing their position through marches and demonstrations, noting that the current Arab situation requires genuine action to support the Palestinian people.
Al-Houthi stressed the importance of jihad and resistance, noting that supporting the mujahideen in Gaza is the only way to achieve Palestinian rights, and urged the Islamic nation to take a unified stance against the aggression.
