Six Palestinian civilians killed in Israeli shelling of various areas in Gaza Strip

GAZA, Aug. 05 (YPA) – At least six Palestinian civilians were killed and others injured on Monday evening as a result of Israeli shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, Israeli occupation forces shelled a group of people waiting for humanitarian aid in the northwest of the Strip, killing three civilians, who were transported along with several injured to Shifa Hospital.

The agency also reported that the occupation fighter jets targeted a group of people in the Al-Tawam area, north of Gaza City, claiming the lives of two and injuring others.

According to medical sources, the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip has risen to 74 since the dawn of today, including 36 aid-seekers, amid a rapidly worsening humanitarian crisis.

With unconditional US support, Israeli occupation forces have been committing acts of genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in over 60,933 Palestinians killed and 150,027 wounded —most of them children and women—alongside more than 11,000 missing and hundreds of thousands displaced.
