GAZA, Aug. 01 (YPA) – At least 12 Palestinians were killed and dozens more wounded since early Friday morning as Israeli military operations continued across various areas of the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian health and local media sources.
Among the fatalities were two individuals reportedly seeking humanitarian aid near the “Morag” area south of Khan Younis. Medical teams also received multiple casualties from that vicinity, with at least 73 people treated at the Jordanian field hospital.
In a separate incident, four people were killed and several others injured when a tent sheltering displaced individuals was struck in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis. The casualties included members of the same family, among them a young child.
Another woman was killed and several others injured in a separate strike targeting a tent near the Tabariya station in western Khan Younis.
In northern Gaza, an airstrike hit a storage facility near the Sheikh Radwan cemetery, injuring a number of civilians, including a child.
Four people were also injured in an attack on a room housing displaced individuals inside the Passport Building in central Gaza City.
A medical source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported that four people were killed and others injured following an Israeli drone strike in central Deir al-Balah.
