Palestinian teenager succumbs to wounds sustained by Israeli occupation gunfire south of Hebron

WEST BANK, July 26 (YPA) -A Palestinian teenager succumbed to critical wounds he sustained earlier this evening by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire near the town of ad-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, according to the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry said it was informed by the General Authority of Civil Affairs of the killing of 19-year-old Wadi’ Mohammad Othman Samamrah, who was shot and critically wounded by Israeli occupation soldiers near the town, and whose body remains withheld by the occupation.

Following the announcement of the young man’s martyrdom, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of ad-Dhahiriya with several military vehicles and raided his family’s home in the Al-Baha area, sparking confrontations in the town.

According to media sources, the martyr, Wadi’ (Wadi’ Samamra), is the brother of martyr Sand Samamra, who was killed in the same area on January 11, 2023, by settler gunfire.

The occupation forces withheld Sanad’s body until April 3, 2023, when his family was finally able to bury him.
