Navigational sites reveal landing of US cargo plane on Hadramout border

HADRAMOUT, July 20 (YPA) – A US cargo plane has landed in the Sharurah region of Saudi Arabia, according to navigation websites.

According to these websites, the US Navy C-40 Clipper transport plane landed in Sharurah, a Saudi area on the Hadramout border, and its ADS-B transponders were turned off before approaching its destination.

Observers of the situation said the plane may be carrying US soldiers to reinforce their forces in Hadramout under Saudi and Emirati sponsorship.

In August 2023, media sources confirmed a visit by a US official to a secondary school, accompanied by Marines, in Yemen’s eastern province of Hadramout, under the Saudi-led coalition’s control.
