GAZA, July 20 (YPA) – At least 136 Palestinian citizens have been killed since dawn on Saturday in ongoing Israeli occupation attacks on the Gaza Strip, Palestinian medical sources reported. The casualties include 38 aid seekers and three children who died due to malnutrition.
In the southern part of the Gaza Strip, 32 people were killed and over a hundred wounded by Israeli gunfire near aid distribution points. Additionally, the bodies of eight martyrs were recovered from Bani Suheila and Sheikh Nasser, east of Khan Younis, and from under the rubble of the Abu Sahloul family home in the city’s western camp.
Twenty-one citizens, including children, were killed and others wounded in Israeli shelling that targeted tents sheltering displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, near the Dream Hall west of the city, as well as in the Japanese neighborhood and the Taiba Towers area. One more person was shot dead by Israeli forces in the town of Bani Suheila.
Medical sources confirmed the death of three-month-old Yahya Fadi Al-Najjar in Gaza due to severe malnutrition and the lack of infant formula.
In central Gaza, at least 11 Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in an Israeli drone strike targeting a residential apartment in the southern part of the Nuseirat refugee camp.
Palestinian sources also reported that six people were killed and several others injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting Gaza City.
In southern Gaza City, four people were killed by Israeli gunfire while attempting to reach aid near Al-Shohada Junction. Another four were killed and several wounded in a strike on Street 8, and four more — including two children — died when Israeli forces bombed the Zughra family home near Sheikh Radwan Bridge in the northwest of the city.
Four people were also killed and others injured in a strike on Mushtaha Street in Shuja’iyya. Three more were killed in shelling near Salah al-Din Mosque and Habib Roundabout in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of the city.
A woman and a child were killed in a strike on a displacement tent on Al-Thawra Street, west of Gaza City. Two other citizens, including a child, succumbed to injuries sustained in a previous attack.
One person was killed in a strike on an apartment in Tel al-Hawa, while another died in northern Gaza City. A 10-year-old girl was killed in a strike on Al-Sahaba Street, one man was killed by a drone strike in Al-Tuffah neighborhood, and another in Al-Daraj. Three more were killed and others injured in drone strikes on Maqata Street near the Sheikh Radwan pool.
Medical sources also confirmed the deaths of two additional children due to malnutrition, one of whom was identified as Jawad Thaer Mohammad Al-Ashqar.
In northern Gaza, two people were killed in a strike in Beit Lahia, and two more in Jabalia. Another two were killed by artillery shelling in the same area, while one more was killed in a strike on Al-Nassar Roundabout. Three additional bodies were recovered from various locations in the town.
A young man was killed near Abu Qamar Station in Jabalia Camp, an elderly man was killed by a drone strike in Al-Atatra (west of Beit Lahia), and another youth was killed near Sheikh Zayed Roundabout.
