Hebrew media: At least 15 Israeli soldiers have died by suicide in 2025

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, July 15 (YPA) – Hebrew daily newspaper “Haaretz” reported on Tuesday an increasing number of soldiers who have taken their own lives during their military service, marking an increase compared to previous years.

The paper reported on Monday that a soldier from the Nahal Brigade took his own life on Monday morning on a military base in the Golan Heights.

This marks the third soldier who fought in the Gaza Strip to die by suicide within the past week.

According to the paper, at least 15 Israeli soldiers have died by suicide since the beginning of 2025, while 21 took their own lives in 2024 — a trend that has raised serious concern within the military establishment.
