Recruit killed in Shabwa explosive device

SHABWA, July 11 (YPA) – A person was killed and another wounded on Thursday in an armed attack targeting a military vehicle south of Ataq city, the provincial capital of Shabwa.

A local source in the province said, a military vehicle belonging to the UAE-backed Sixth Thunderbolt Brigade was detonated an explosive device in Masinah area of As-Said district.

Armed attacks targeting the sites and vehicles of UAE-funded factions in the Mosayna area have been recurred, leaving a number of dead and wounded, including prominent leaders, since the factions took over Islah Party’s camps in Ataq in August 2022.
