16 Palestinians killed in ongoing Israeli airstrikes across Gaza Strip

GAZA, July 09 (YPA) – At least 16 Palestinians were killed in a series of Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip since early Wednesday morning, according to Palestainain medical sources

Eight of the fatalities, including two children, were brought to Al-Shifa Hospital after Israeli warplanes struck a residential building belonging to the Jouda family in western Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City. More than 30 others were injured in the same attack.

In central Gaza, two people were killed and several others injured when an Israeli airstrike hit the Al-Kharoubi family home in Al-Bureij refugee camp, local sources said.

Additional casualties were reported following a strike on an apartment belonging to the Hamad family in Al-Nuseirat refugee camp, also in central Gaza.

In southern Gaza, two people were killed when Israeli drones struck tents sheltering displaced persons west of Khan Younis, according to Nasser Medical Complex.

Separately, in Deir al-Balah, a father and his son were killed in an Israeli strike that hit their home.
