Arab Parliament condemns Israeli occupation’s statements calling for annexation of West Bank

CAIRO, July 03 (YPA) – Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al-Yamahi strongly condemned statements made by Israeli occupation officials, particularly those of the Israeli Justice Minister calling for the annexation of the West Bank and the imposition of Israeli sovereignty over it.

In a statement, Al-Yamahi considered this a violation of international law and UN resolutions and an attempt to obstruct peace based on the two-state solution.

He stressed that these statements reflect the occupation’s expansionist policy, denouncing violations in the West Bank, including raids, arrests, and the expansion of illegal settlements, as well as the escalating attacks against civilians, displacement of residents, and the genocidal war in Gaza aimed at eliminating the foundations of Palestinian life.
