ADEN, July 02 (YPA) – A southern forum has warned of worsening living and service conditions in Aden and other southern provinces under Saudi-led coalition control, calling on the pro-coalition government to take action.
The “Southern National Partnership Forum” criticized the continued power outages, which are expected to persist for the coming months, with no significant efforts from the coalition-backed government to alleviate citizens’ suffering.
It highlighted that ongoing power outages have become an unbearable daily burden for citizens, with no real action taken to end their suffering over the past months.
The forum emphasized that the worsening electricity crisis during Aden’s scorching summer has not been met with any genuine intervention to put an end to this crisis.
It called for the regular and stable operation of the Aden refineries, transparent fuel imports free from monopolies, and improvements to the electricity infrastructure
The forum also stressed the importance of separating service and living issues from political divisions, while demanding a clear plan to resolve the crisis.
