GAZA, July 02 (YPA) – Dozens of Palestinians were killed and injured as a result of the intense Israeli bombing of several areas in the Gaza Strip since the early hours of Wednesday morning.
According to Palestinian sources, the bombing of tents housing displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis city led to the death of six citizens and the injury of others. Ten people, including children, were also injured as a result of the targeting of other tents housing displaced people in the same area, which the displaced families consider safe, but they have been bombed several times in recent weeks.
The sources added that an Israeli bombing targeted the home of the Zeno family on Jaffa Street in central Gaza City, killing four members of the family: the father, Ahmed Ayyad Zeno; his wife, Ayat Zeno; and their two children, Zahra and Obeida Zeno. The house was almost completely destroyed, and ambulance and civil defense crews continue to search the rubble amid fears of additional casualties.
In the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, medical sources confirmed that ten people were injured when an Israeli drone targeted a tent housing displaced people near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. A number of civilians were also injured by gunfire from another drone in the Al-Karama neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City.
The Gaza Strip witnessed a series of massacres targeting Palestinian families yesterday, Tuesday, with approximately 100 civilians killed in Israeli attacks and raids.
