Pro-Palestine demonstration organized in Austria

SANAA, June 29 (YPA) – Demonstrators in a pro-Palestine march organized in central Vienna, the Austrian capital, at the invitation of more than 30 civil society organizations, condemned the Austrian government’s complicity in the genocide committed against the Palestinian people and denounced the ongoing Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The demonstration set off from in front of the Austrian parliament, heading toward the Prime Minister’s office, where participants chanted slogans against the Israeli occupation, including: “Free Palestine,” “Stop the genocide in Gaza,” “The children of Gaza want to live, and Austria refuses,” “Austria is a partner in the genocide”, “Netanyahu will be arrested”, and “The child killer will be imprisoned.”

The demonstrators raised Palestinian flags and banners reading “Stop Israel’s terrorism,” in a scene that reflects the growing popular anger toward the official Austrian position in support of the occupation.
