Eight Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City, Khan Younis

GAZA, June 28 (YPA) – Eight Palestinians were killed and several others wounded early Saturday as Israeli warplanes carried out intense airstrikes on Gaza City and the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources reported that two civilians were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Adnan Al-Alami School, which was sheltering displaced family’s northwest of Gaza City.

In a separate attack, six more Palestinians were killed and several others wounded when Israeli occupation forces bombed a tent housing displaced people in al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis.

Additionally, eight civilians were injured early this morning following Israeli artillery shelling on two homes in Jabalia al-Balad, in the northern Gaza Strip.

Overnight, Israeli forces also carried out demolitions of residential buildings in the northeastern areas of Gaza City, adding to the widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure..
