UN condemns Israeli killing of starving Palestinians in Gaza

GAZA, June 25 (YPA) – A UN official on Tuesday strongly condemned the Israeli occupation army’s killing of starving Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, describing the ongoing situation as a “massacre.”

This came during a media briefing on Gaza by the head of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in the occupied Palestinian territory, Jonathan Whittall.

“What we are seeing is carnage. It is weaponized hunger. It is forced displacement. It’s a death sentence for people just trying to survive. All combined, it appears to be the erasure of Palestinian life from Gaza,” Jonathan Whittall said.

Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces killed more than 54 civilians waiting for aid and wounded about 250 others in two horrific massacres in central and southern Gaza.

Since May 27, 2025, the occupation forces have been deliberately firing on Palestinians at food distribution points as part of a suspicious US-Israeli project.
