The New York Times: Iran has prepared to strike US bases in the region

WORLD, June 18 (YPA) – Iran has prepared missiles and other military equipment to strike US bases in the region in the event that the United States joins the Zionist entity’s aggression against Tehran, The New York Times reported.

In its Wednesday edition, the newspaper stated that Iran would attack US bases in the region—starting with Iraq—if the United States joins the aggression alongside the Zionist entity.

It also noted that Iran would target any US bases located in Arab countries that participate in the attack.

The report pointed out that the Islamic Republic of Iran would not need extensive preparations to attack US bases in the region, as it possesses missile bases within easy striking range of Bahrain, Qatar, and the UAE.

The paper added that the Zionist attacks may have shifted Iran’s calculations, and that Tehran might indeed be moving toward building a nuclear bomb.

It explained that the aggression has convinced Iran that the only way to prevent future attacks is to develop a comprehensive nuclear deterrent.
