Pakistan Defense Minister: Israeli aggression on Yemen, Gaza, Iran posts war crimes

ISLAMABAD, June 16 (YPA) – Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that the Israeli aggression is no longer limited to the Palestinian people in Gaza, but has extended to Yemen and Iran, warning of the dangerous repercussions of this aggression.

According to Al Jazeera Mubasher on Monday, the minister considered the Israeli aggression on Gaza and Iran “clear war crimes,” emphasizing the need to halt these attacks immediately.

Asif called on the United States to stop supporting what he described as the rogue state of Israel, noting that Washington could play a pivotal role in putting an end to the ongoing Israeli aggression in the region.

He stressed the need for Islamic countries to shoulder their responsibilities in confronting what he described as the “Israeli threat,” adding that “Israel” is a nuclear state that has not signed any international treaty limiting nuclear weapons, making it a threat to regional and international security.

The Pakistani minister also stressed the importance of intensifying diplomatic efforts to confront the aggression, calling for support for Iran in confronting the Israeli attacks.
