Nine individuals accused of manufacturing alcohol arrested in Taiz

TAIZ, June 08 (YPA) – The Sanaa-run security forces seized five liquor manufacturing plants and arrested nine individuals accused of manufacturing and distributing alcohol, in a joint operation in Taiz province.

Taiz police stated that eight suspects, who had have large quantities of alcohol, in addition to the tools used in its manufacture, were arrested in various sites, during the joint security campaign, led by the province’s security director, Brigadier General Shukri Mahyoub.

Brig. Gen. Mahyoub affirmed that the security services will continue to perform their duty and will not tolerate any attempt to undermine the security and stability of citizens, stressing that those behind these acts amid at serving the agendas of the enemies and seeking to undermine the cohesion of the home front.
