Israeli warplanes conduct warning strikes on Beirut’s southern suburb

BEIRUT, June 05 (YPA) – Israeli warplanes carried out two warning airstrikes Thursday evening on the Al-Qaim neighborhood in Beirut’s southern suburb, marking a dangerous escalation that signals a potential expansion of the conflict deeper into Lebanese territory.

According to Lebanese media reports, the warning strikes targeted the vicinity of Harat Hreik and al-Qaim — key neighborhoods in Beirut’s southern suburbs, widely considered a political and security stronghold of Hezbollah.

No casualties or material damage have been reported for far.
