“Red Wall” surrounds British Parliament in solidarity with Palestine

LONDON, June 05 (YPA) – Thousands of demonstrators formed a symbolic “red wall” in a rally in front of the British Parliament building in London, protesting the UK’s arms sales to Israeli occupation.

In the rally, held under the slogan “The Red Line for Palestine”, the participants organized following a joint call from a large number of civil society organizations in Britain.

The protesters formed a human chain in front of the Parliament building, wearing red clothes and carrying a long red cloth, in a message to the British government: “You have crossed a red line for Palestine.”

The demonstrators, who surrounded the Parliament building and waved Palestinian flags, demanded an end to arms exports to the occupation and the imposition of sanctions.

The organizers considered this action a clear warning to the government, emphasizing the need for Britain to pursue a foreign policy that respects international law and human rights.
