Death toll mounts 54,607 in Gaza amid relentless Israeli attacks

GAZA, June 04 (YPA) – At least 40 more Palestinians have been killed and 208 others wounded in relentless Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, Gaza-based Ministry of Health said on Wednesday.

The ministry said in a statement that the total death toll from the Israeli genocide has risen to 54,607 since October 7, 2023.

Additionally, about 125,341 others have been injured in the ongoing assault since then.

“Many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads, with rescuers are unable to reach them,” the statement clarified.
