10 killed, including children, in Israeli drone strike on displacement tent in Khan Younis

GAZA, June 04 (YPA) – At least 10 Palestinians, including children, were killed on Wednesday after an Israeli drone strike targeted a tent sheltering displaced families inside a school in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, according to local sources.

In a related development, Israeli tanks opened fire on residential homes in the Qizan al-Najjar area, south of Khan Younis. Meanwhile, northern and eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City also came under heavy bombardment.

The attacks are part of the ongoing Israeli military campaign across the Gaza Strip, which continues to inflict heavy civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure.

Israeli occupation has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 54,510 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 124,901 others.
