Hamas condemns Rafah massacre, accusing Israeli occupation forces of using aid as deadly traps

GAZA, June 01 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance Movement, “Hamas,” condemned on Sunday the massacre carried out by Israeli occupation forces west of Rafah, south of Gaza, which killed more than 35 civilians and wounded nearly 150 others, most of them women and children.

The movement described the attack as brutal and considered it a crime that proves the criminal nature of the occupation.

In a statement, it explained that the occupation forces opened fire on thousands of civilians gathered at an aid distribution point, deliberately killing and wounding dozens.

It asserted that the occupation is using the aid issue as a cover for crimes targeting Palestinians, considering it part of a systematic policy of starvation and genocide.
