Al-Quds Brigades blew up house where Israeli occupation forces holed up in Gaza

GAZA, May 27 (YPA) – The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, claimed responsibility for the bombing of a house where a large Israeli military force was holed up this afternoon in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City.

In a brief statement, the Brigades said its fighters blew up the house after preparing the scene of the operation in advance with carefully planted explosive devices that exploded simultaneously while the Israeli force was inside.

The Al-Quds Brigades confirmed that the operation resulted in a number of deaths and injuries among the occupation forces, without providing further details on the nature or number of casualties.

The Shuja’iyya neighborhood is witnessing ongoing clashes as Israeli forces attempt to advance into the eastern areas of Gaza City, amid fierce resistance from Palestinian armed factions.
