WFP: Israeli occupation prevents direct distribution of flour to Gaza families

GAZA, May 24 (YPA) -The World Food Programme (WFP) confirmed on Saturday that the Israeli occupation army is preventing a direct distribution of flour and food to families in the Gaza Strip.

It explained that the only available option at the moment is to work with a limited number of bakeries to produce and distribute bread.

The WFP noted that the continued Israeli obstruction of direct food and flour distribution is worsening the suffering of Palestinians, especially those caring for children, the elderly, or the sick.

The organization called for the immediate resumption of direct distribution to meet urgent needs and prevent the collapse of the humanitarian situation.
