Hamas congratulates “heroic shooting operation” in West Bank

GAZA, May 15 (YPA) –The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” issued an official statement congratulating the “heroic shooting operation” that took place near the town of Bruqin, west of Salfit. The attack, it said, was carried out by “the bravest of the Palestinian people in the West Bank.”

“The heroic shooting operation that targeted a settlers’ vehicle near the town of Bruqin, west of Salfit, comes as a response to the escalating crimes and ongoing aggression by the occupation against our people in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, as well as against our prisoners and holy sites,” the statement read.

In the same statement, Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Obeida called on the Palestinian masses to rise up in defense of Al-Aqsa, to confront the aggression in the West Bank and its refugee camps, and to support the steadfastness of the people in Gaza.
