MSF rejects any Israeli move to reduce humanitarian aid to Gaza

GAZA, May 14 (YPA) – Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) rejected on Wednesday any move to reduce humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, or to link it on conditions imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities.

In a statement, the MSF described it as an extension of the ongoing policy of “ethnic cleansing” against the Palestinians.

“Linking aid delivery to forced displacement or identity checks is yet another tool in an ongoing campaign to erase the Palestinian presence in the Gaza Strip,” the organization said.

The MSF stressed the need for immediate and unconditional access for essential humanitarian supplies, including food, fuel, and medicine, to reach the population of the Gaza Strip, which has been under siege for months amid catastrophic humanitarian conditions.

This statement came amid escalating international warnings of a starvation and rising civilian casualties, as a result of the US supported-Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023.

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the aggression has so far resulted in more than 172,000 deaths and injuries, most of them children and women, in addition to more than 11,000 missing under the rubble or forcibly disappeared.
