Suffering of kidney failure patients in Gaza has increased due to genocide war

GAZA, May 10 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces continue the brutal war of genocide in the Gaza Strip, which has exacerbated the suffering of all residents, especially those who are sick, especially those with kidney failure.

Kidney failure patients receive dialysis and healthcare at the Al-Shifa Medical Complex west of Gaza City, amid increasing suffering due to the shortage of essential medicines and medical supplies.

The occupation forces have imposed a strict closure on the Gaza Strip since the resumption of the genocide war on March 18, preventing the entry of medical supplies and equipment necessary to save the wounded and sick, threatening their lives, and making their treatment more difficult.

The death toll from the genocidal war and aggression waged by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip has risen, with new massacres, some of which have targeted entire families.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement on Saturday that the recorded death toll has risen to 52,810 martyrs, with 119,473 wounded since October 7, 2023.

The ministry reported that 2,701 martyrs and 7,432 wounded have been recorded since March 18, i.e., since the occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip following the collapse of the ceasefire agreement.

Over the past 24 hours, 23 martyrs and 124 injured people arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals. A number of victims remain buried under the rubble and debris and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and civil defense teams.
