HADRAMOUT, May 08 (YPA) – Dozens of PetroMasila Oil Company’s employees and workers rallied on Thursday in the coalition-held Hadramout province to demand an improvement in their living conditions, which have become increasingly difficult due to deteriorating economic conditions.
In a protest rally, the participants held up signs expressing their dissatisfaction with their deteriorating financial situation, asserting that their financial entitlements no longer meet their daily needs, especially in light of skyrocketing prices.
The protesters stressed that its demands included improving employee salaries and providing a fair work environment that guarantees job and living stability for the company’s employees.
They called on the company’s administration and relevant authorities to respond to employees’ demands to avoid any potential escalation that could impact workflow and production.
The rally came at a time when the country was being witnessing increasing protests across various sectors, denouncing the deteriorating living conditions burdening citizens in these areas.
