Saudi-funded factions’ camp in Mahra witnesses military rebellion

MAHRA, May 03 (YPA) – The camp of the Saudi-funded “Dera Al-Watan” factions in Qishn district of Mahra province in eastern Yemen witnessed a military mutiny and the withdrawal of dozens of the camp members in protest against violations against them.

Informed sources revealed that members of “Dera Al-Watan” suffered sudden health deterioration after receiving medications mixed with food, which raised suspicions about intentionally weakening them, amid the absence of medical care and the spread of unexplained diseases among their ranks.

They added that the mass withdrawal came in rejection of the appointment of “Anis Al-Adani” as commander of the factions’ training in Mahra by the commander of the Saudi factions, “Bashir Al-Mudharbi Al-Subaihi,” with absolute powers, bypassing local Mahra leaders.

The recruits from Mahra expressed their rejection of this move, considering it part of a plan aimed at marginalizing local leaders and replacing them with elements loyal to external parties.
