Imam of mosque assassinated in Aden

ADEN, July 25 (YPA) – Unknown gunmen killed on Tuesday night an imam and preacher of a mosque in the southern province of Aden.

According to local sources, unknown gunmen opened fire on the imam and preacher of Thu al-Qarnin mosque, Abduh Ghalib al-Shamiri in al-Kasarh area of al-Buriqah district.

Earlier on the day, The suicide bomber riding a motorcycle blew himself up at an armored car carrying a security official in Anma city, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.

Aden city and other southern provinces, under the control of the UAE and Saudi occupation forces, have been witnessing chaos amid conflict between UAE and Saudi Arabia over control of the Yemeni lands, islands and ports.
