Pakistan announces shooting down of Indian spy plane in Kashmir

ISLAMABAD, April 29 (YPA) – The Pakistan’s state television said on Tuesday Pakistani military shot down an Indian spy drone along the disputed border in the Kashmir region, Bloomberg News reported.

Citing unidentified security sources, the television added that the drone crossed the so-called “Line of Control” in Kashmir, a northern region claimed by both Pakistan and India.

The Indian military’s statement did not address the incident, stating that Pakistani forces opened fire with small arms on its positions near the Line of Control in Kashmir.
