SANAA, April 26 (YPA) – Yemen’s armed forces announced on Saturday it had carried out a military operation targeting the Israeli occupation’s Nevatim Air Base in the Negev region in southern occupied Palestine.
Military spokesman Brigadier General, Yahiya Sarie, said in a statement that t the Air Base was targeted using a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile.
He confirmed that the missile reached its target successfully and that the interception systems failed to intercept the missile.
Yahiya Sarie noted that the operation was in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and its fighters, and a rejection of the genocide being perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against the Palestine people in the Gaza Strip.
“The Yemeni Armed Forces will continue to confront the American aggression and will not stop developing their military capabilities in response to developments on the ground, to strengthen the factors of steadfastness and to support the oppressed Palestinian people,” the spokesman.
Sarie indicated that defensive and support operations will continue, with trust in Allah, until the aggression on Gaza is stopped and the siege is lifted.
