Organizations demand “Maersk” to stop transporting military equipment to Israeli occupation

SANAA, April 21 (YPA) – Dozens of organizations and unions around the world have called on the global shipping company Maersk to immediately stop transporting F-35 aircraft components and any other military materials used in the ongoing Zionist war on the Gaza Strip, urging it not to be involved in supporting this aggression.

These demands came after reports emerged indicating that Maersk is involved in transporting military shipments to the occupation.

Maersk explained that its ships, Detroit Maersk and Nexo Maersk, which are expected to pass through Moroccan ports, are transporting containers containing equipment for F-35 aircraft, but they are destined for countries participating in the program to manufacture these aircraft, noting that any conclusion that these parts are destined for the Zionist Ministry of Defense is misleading, according to the statement.

It was found that the ship left the port of New York on April 13 and is currently approaching the Portuguese coast by checking the route of the ship “Maersk Detroit,” bearing registration number “9333034,” confirming the validity of concerns regarding the arrival of military shipments to the occupation through Moroccan ports.
