SANAA, April 19 (YPA) – Tribal Sheikh Amin Atif revealed on Friday that nearly 30 civilians from the Khamer district in Amran Governorate were killed, and dozens of others injured in the American attack on Ras Issa oil facility in Hodeida Governorate on Thursday evening.
In a post on the “X” platform, Atif stated that Mohammed Al-Hawfi Al-Ayyani, along with approximately 30 others from Khamer who work in the transportation of gas and fuel, were killed while they were at the Ras Issa facility filling their trucks to transport fuel to various regions.
He confirmed that all the tankers were burned during the American airstrike, noting that the martyrs and wounded were innocent civilians whose only fault was being at the facility that they rely on for their livelihood—just like many other Yemenis who are targeted by American airstrikes.
Atif questioned, saying: “For God’s sake, are these people high-ranking military commanders in the Yemeni army, as some media outlets claim?”
In a related post, Southern activist Ali Al-Nassi revealed on “X” that Khaled Abdullah Al-Hadhrami was martyred and his two brothers, Naseem and Yasser, were injured while they were working at the Ras Issa facility due to the US airstrike.
Al-Nassi explained that the Al-Hadhrami brothers are siblings of a deceased judge in Aden named Faheem Abdullah Al-Hadhrami.
Al-Nassi posed several questions, saying: ‘Is the Ras Issa port a military facility for Khaled Al-Hadhrami to be considered a military commander in the Sanaa government? And are his injured brothers, Naseem and Yasser, missiles or drones heading to Israel, for the American airstrikes to target them?
