UAE-backed factions kidnap journalist in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, April 16 (YPA) – The UAE-backed factions kidnapped journalist Awad Kashmeem bin Halabi on Wednesday in Hadramout province, in eastern Yemen.

Local sources reported that gunmen loyal to the UAE abducted bin Halabi in the market of Harida District because of his opposition to the UAE military movements in Hadramout.

Bin Halabi was taken to a prison in the district after his home was raided and his family was terrorized, amid accusations against the province governor of involvement in the incident, according to the sources.
