Sanaa forces shoot down 19th US drone of type “MQ-9”

HAJJAH, April 14 (YPA) – Sanaa forces’ air defenses shot down a US “MQ-9” drone while carrying out hostile missions in Hajjah province.

In a statement issued on Sunday evening, Sanaa forces explained that the drone was shot down with a locally manufactured surface-to-air missile. They noted that this is the fourth drone the air defenses have shot down in two weeks and the 19th during the “Promised Victory and Holy Jihad” battle in support of Gaza.

The Sanaa forces reiterated that their military capabilities have not been affected and that the ongoing US aggression against the country will only bring more disappointment and failure.

The statement emphasized that “the Yemeni armed forces, while confronting the aggression supported by the Israeli enemy, will not cease their support operations for the oppressed Palestinian people until the aggression on Gaza stops and the siege is lifted.”
