Trump: Yemenis can make very sophisticated missiles

WASHINGTON, April 11 (YPA) – US President Trump has acknowledged the development of Yemeni military capabilities and the failure of the US aggression against Yemen.

New York City-based Newsweek magazine quoted Trump as saying: “The Yemenis are already making missiles. No one would have thought they can make missiles, and they’re very sophisticated and very durable.”

He added, “It is advanced technology and they are very powerful.”

Earlier, the Pentagon admitted its failure to destroy Yemen’s massive arsenal despite hundreds of airstrikes.

This came in secret Pentagon briefings that exposed the falsity of Trump’s rhetoric about the war on Yemen.
