2.7-degree earthquake hit southwest of Mahweet

SANAA, March 12 (YPA) – The stations of the Yemeni Center for Monitoring and Studying Earthquake and Volcano in Dhamar province recorded a tremor in Mahweet Province.

The head of the center, Engineer Mohamed Hussein Al-Houthi, stated that the earthquake  measuring 2.7 degrees on the Richter scale occurred at 6:17 PM, 14 km southwest of Al-Mahweet.
