Hamas: the extension of the first phase in the form proposed by the occupation is rejected

GAZA, March 01 (YPA) -Hamas on Saturday rejected ‘Israel’’s “formulation” of extending the first phase of the ceasefire instead of proceeding to the second phase as originally planned, calling it unacceptable.

The Israeli occupation wants to recover the remaining captives from Gaza while retaining the possibility of resuming the war, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said in televised statements

He pointed out that the extension of the first phase in the form proposed by the occupation is rejected.

It has postponed the release of the seventh batch of prisoners and prevented the entry of caravans and mobile homes for the displaced people in the Gaza strip.

Qassem stated that no negotiations have taken place with the movement regarding the second phase, blaming the occupation for the delay in talks for the second phase of the Gaza agreement.

He affirmed that the occupation is avoiding its obligation to end the war and completely withdraw from Gaza, emphasizing that the movement rejects the extension of the first phase in the way proposed by the occupation.
