WEST BANK, Feb. 23 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, in the early hours of Sunday morning, destroying infrastructure and bulldozing roads.
According to Palestinian sources, the Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by military bulldozers, began bulldozing streets and destroying infrastructure, particularly around the al-Quds Square area.
The sources also added that the occupation forces raided several buildings and homes in the town, conducted searches, interrogated residents, and closed with earth mounds the Al-Shuhada Square at the entrance to the town as well as parts of the Jenin-Nablus road.
The Israeli occupation forces have been conducting an unprecedented assault on the Jenin Governorate for 34 days, leaving behind 27 fatalities, dozens of detainees and wounded, and unprecedented destruction to homes, property, and infrastructure.
