PM confirms Gov’t support for programs of Ministry of Industry

SANAA, July 23 (YPA) – Prime Minster Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Monday confirmed the government’s support for the programs of Ministry of Industry and Trade to enhance its role and raise the economic activity to face the current challenges.

The premier discussed, during a meeting with Minister of Industry and Trade, Abdulwahab al-Durra, the ministry’s activities and priorities for the next period, especially the activation of its economic role.

Dr. bin Habtoor pointed to the importance of the ministry’s economic function, related directly to the life of society through the continuous guarantee of food safety.

In the meeting, the minister al-Durra reviewed the ministry’s program to enhance the overall performance and to address the problems facing its work.
