SANAA, Feb. 07 (YPA) -The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning predicted, on Friday, clear and cold weather during the night and early morning in the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, and Bayda.
In its weather forecast for the next 24 hours, the center indicated that the weather will be relatively cold in the highlands of (Jawf, Marib, Mahwit, Raymah, Ibb, and Dhalea), while it will be clear to partly cloudy during the day in various parts of the mountainous highlands and inland plateaus.
It noted that the coastal areas will generally experience clear to partly cloudy weather, with light to moderate winds on the southern and eastern coasts and the Socotra Archipelago, and moderate to occasionally active winds on the southern part of the western coast and the Bab al-Mandab strait.
The center also mentioned that the desert areas will have clear and relatively cold weather during the night and early morning hours, with light to moderate winds that may sometimes become active, causing dust and sand to rise.
The Meteorology and Early Warning Center advised citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients, and those working during the night and early morning, to take necessary precautions against the cold weather.
