UAE jails Yemeni businessman to 15 years in prison

ABU DHABAI, Feb. 03 (YPA) – A court in Dubai has sentenced an Yemeni businessman to 15 years in prison.

An international human rights center said that Yemeni businessman Abdullah Ali Abdul Wahhab was received a 15 year prison sentence by the Emirati authorities for publicly expressing his opinions on Facebook post in 2022.

The center stated that Abdel Wahab had lost contact with him during his visit to Dubai in October 2022, before it later became clear that he was being detained in the UAE under mysterious circumstances and without clear legal procedures.
