Meteorology issues statement regarding weather conditions

SANAA, Fab.01 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology warned of continuing the cold weather in different areas of Yemeni provinces.

In its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that weather would be relatively cold in the highlands of Jawf, Marib, Mahweet, Rayma, Ibb, Dhalea, Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, and Bayda.

According to the bulletin, the coastal areas would be partly cloudy with the possibility of light rain on parts of the western and southern coasts and the Socotra Archipelago, with light to moderate winds on the southern and eastern coasts, and moderate, sometimes active on the southern western coast, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab and the Socotra Archipelago.

The center called on citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients, and workers at night and early morning, to take the necessary precautions against the cold weather.
