Two Palestinians killed in Qabatiya drone attack

WEST BANK, Jan. 25 (YPA) – Two Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on a vehicle in Qabatiya town in Jenin, north of the West Bank, on Friday evening.

According to Palestinian sources, an Israeli army drone targeted a vehicle at the Damuni Mount in the town, killing two.

The occupation forces also barged their way into the town following the airstrike and started to sweep the vicinity of the site, and deployed snipers at the rooftops of nearby houses, the sources said.

It added that violent clashes broke out between citizens and the occupying forces, during which the occupation soldiers detained a number of young men and conducted field interrogations with them.

They also forced the Zakarneh family to evacuate their home and deployed snipers in the neighboring houses.
